I purchased this in white. When I first received this jewelry box, I was super disappointed. It is not quality material and it was dirty and had slight scratches that I cleaned up but definitely not a piece I would leave on display. I put in inside a cupboard out of sight. It does a good job organizing my jewelry. It would not be good for large amounts of jewelry. Since it was on sale, it is suitable for my needs but I wouldn’t want to buy one as a gift. Maybe the black would look cleaner and not look so cheap.

My room is tiny. A regular sized bedside table won’t fit, so I’ve been using a tiered shoe rack as a bedside table. I was using a small box for storage, but it didn’t fit really well and wasn’t as effective as I wanted. When I saw this jewelry box, I thought it might sit on top of the rack well enough to provide some storage space for my lip moisturizer and other small things that are nice to have nearby. My one concern was that the legs on this jewelry box might not sit quite in the right place to keep from tilting into the spaces between the slats of the shoe rack. It was worth a try, however, so I ordered it.
Turns out, the legs don’t work well to sit on top. However, as I was contemplating what to do next, I thought I’d try to slide it onto one of the lower shelves so the side rails would help keep it in place. But, that too didn’t work since the frame of the jewelry box made it just wide enough that it wouldn’t slide in. BUT…then I had the brilliant idea to pop the top layer of the rack off and drop the jewelry box in so the frame nestled behind the side rails. PERFECT! It fit and the side rails help hold the jewelry box perfectly in place, and now I have drawers in my bedside “table”. 😊 I’m over the moon happy with how this turned out.
The jewelry box itself is really nice. The outer material is a soft, smooth leather-like material, the gold frame is made well and sturdy and stable. The inside is bright and soft velvety material. The hanging rack (which I’m not using) attaches with tiny included screws. I’m debating ordering another one to have additional drawers. I do wish there was an option available where all the little drawers were just open without the dividers, especially the ring dividers (I wish they were modifiable with removable inserts to make them customizable for each person’s jewelry needs.) But otherwise, this is a great jewelry box – very classy looking.

This is a cute jewelry box. It is well made and to attach the top hanging rack is easy. The only thing I didn’t like is that the hanging rack is short in height so it is better suited for bracelets and not necklaces.

It’s built solid has a ton of space for jewelry the drawers are all lined with some type of velvet and it just looks good, I definitely recommend this.
