I day I got my package through the mail for this wall clock I immediately hung it on the wall, replacing a wall clock that was close to 20 years old. Unlike the old clock this wall clock is quite, not a peep as far as noise goes, and it has not lost one minute of time this installing the battery. I was imagining something more wooden-looking, but it is definitely plastic (better from a distance). Once I got used to that, I was really pleased with the product overall.
