I got this for the outside front door as you approached and it was so pretty when I put it down. Unfortunately it’s thick, which is a good thing, but my security door is right up against the cement so it wouldn’t work due to there is very little leeway on the door opening, so I just took the mat and turned it sideways at the front door so you could walk up wipe your feet and then open the door and go in. It’s a little odd but I don’t care it’s pretty and it does it. So just double check your height between the bottom of your screen door or whatever door you have out front and the cement or wood so that you know it’ll fit .

We purchased this mat 4 years ago for our front door. We live in the Seattle area. The good news: although it has been outside on the west side of our house getting the late afternoon sun, the mat hasn’t faded at all. The bad news: the backing on the mat cracked and fell apart. I was sad to throw it away since it still looked great, but as soon as you tried to wipe your feet on it, the mat would split.
