I bought this to go under my raised dog food holder. The dimensions were perfect for our space with plenty of room for our XL raised water/food holder. The rubber mat is well made, it holds its shape even when stepped on. I like the lip that holds spilled water-wether it be drool coming from my mastiff or excess water from filling the bowl. Water will seep under the mat if spilled on the floor. This needs to be wiped up since it is not porous and will not dry on its own. If a person is buying this mat for shoes, it will fit about 3 pairs of average size shoes but is not big enough for large rain or slop boots. I’d never use this for the boots we wear out to the barn-I’d get something much larger for that. But if you don’t need something heavy duty for your shoes, and if you have average sized feet, this would work for functionality and durability.

These mats are wonderful. They are weighty so they don’t move and they lay very flat. They trap most debris that can come into the home from shoes. They most likely work well outside too. We even use them as litter mats and they’ve been working great for that too. Bonus is that we vacuum them to clean it up and it gets most the dirt out. I’ve ordered 3 and Im happy with the purchase.

I got this for my husband who had a stroke.
He uses a wheelchair and we needed something non slipperly mat for him to safely transfer between his wheelchair and bed. So this mat is right next to his bed. It won’t move on laminate floor. It’s very durable. Very happy with it!

I have a handicapped cat who has taken to using the front mat inside our door for the bathroom. I bought this so that I could just take it outside and hose it off. The only drawback is that the rubber isn’t coated as well, so anything sticks to it and gets in the grooves. Hosing it off isn’t good enough even on the jet setting. I have to use a brush on it as well. But it does keep urine from spilling out onto the carpet. So there’s that and for the price we’ll make do.

During the winter I was worried my ent try way apt carpet was getting reunion with wet shoes. I’m be try happy with this purchase. It contains the mess. Now that I’m working in a warehouse over the summer too it provides a great place to set duty work shoes and clothes. It’s a good sturdy material and has not faded or scuffed from washing it. I have washed it both in my sink, bathroom, and with a hose for different levels of clean and all work well. It sits flat on my floor as well to give a nice fitted appearance.
