Without a doubt this is one of my favorite pieces of the Halloween Village set! The blue LED looks fantastic when it’s dark and the wells detail looks really good during the daylight. I have zero complaints and I think you can enjoy it too!
My one recommendation is to use an AC power adapter with any piece that you can! It’s just much easier because you can plug in 3 different pieces to each adapter.

Cute item. Detail is great. Love the blue effect from the light. My only complaint with any Dept. 56 item that I use in my Fairy Gardens is the long, thick cords for light up items. I guess if they are used in a display, the cords are nice long so they can hide the battery casement. I would prefer they just put the batteries directly into the bottom of the items so there is no gangly cord that always seems to be showing no matter how many times you hide it with grass or decorations. And maybe I’m just getting old but it seems like all the “fairy” size items are over priced for such small sizes.
