I don’t know how to use the spikes they come with! I read another reviewer say they straightened them out and then they worked well, so I’ll have to try that – because if I have to see them all lying flat on the ground one more time after trying to re-stake them, I’m going to lose it (haha)! Right now, they blow over if you just look at them wrong. Maybe jimmy-rigging the spikes will fix the stability issue. Other than that: these are SO TINY and they’re made from styrofoam – I was not pleased spending over $30 on these just to get lighter-than-a-feather, tiny Halloween decorations. They are cute, but hard to see from further away and again, they fall over ALL THE TIME. I would not buy again. I really was hoping for better quality and at least instructions on how to secure the darned things.
UPDATE 9/29/23: Gosh, I feel like a dummy. I looked at the stakes again, and I had them in the wrong direction. They are EXTREMELY sturdy and held up in strong winds and rain. However, it doesn’t change my rating, because they are still very cheaply made styrofoam and small.

Unpacking these I was so very disappointed. They are very cheaply made. They came with no directions about staking them in your yard. It wasn’t until I saw a picture on Amazon that showed how the little metal bits included were supposed to be used.
That aside….. They actually looked great once displayed! My neighbors complimented us on our decorations.
Get them on sale (roughly half the $30+ usually charged). Great decorations.

I guess the main thing you should know is that these stones are very small. One good thing about them is the stakes they came with were actually metal so they do work well.

These worked well for our budget-conscious Halloween yard decorations. The stakes were sturdy, and the covered styrofoam held up well through a very rainy fall. Looking forward to using them again next year!
