   The fairy was nicely packaged in Styrofoam, but the wings were not attached. I thought that it might require a little assembly but there was no connection from the wings to the back. I managed to super-glue it and don’t wish to return it at this time, but I am not happy with the presentation. I don’t even know if the position as glued is correct because the wing is too close to the head, compared with the pictures in the ad. However, there was only one position for the wings to attach to the body.
   So, word of warning: The item was broken when it was placed in the Styrofoam!

   The statue I got was barely colored, so I used acrylic markers to give her some life. Not really good enough for the garden or indoors so I’ll probably put it by the maple next to the sidewalk with the fair door I have there. If it gets stolen, I won’t lose any sleep and just hope she finds a good home.

   I love this figurine. My only complaint (and therefore 4 stars instead of 5) is that the paint on her outfit is very faint, and it almost looks like her boobs are not covered at all. I’m going to re-paint her dress before installing her on the edge of a water fountain in the back yard.

   I purchased this garden fairy because I collect garden fairies from around the world. The price point is good. I have her sitting against a pot filled with flowers. If she is not leaning against a flowerpot, she falls backwards. The fairy I received does not sit on her own and her balance is definitely not great. Her arms and legs are copperish-bronze in color. Her face is also copper bronze. Her eyes are closed, and her nose is tiny but pointy. Her face is sweet and pretty. Her lips appear pouted. Her pointy ears are bronze. Her hair is dark in front (around the hair line area), but gradually gets lighter in color. Her hair is in an upward swept style ending in a point. Her hair color almost matches her dress. Her dress is moss green. The paint quality is not very good. Her left leg appears to be glued together below the knee as if though it broke and glued back together — then repainted. Also, it appears as if she is wearing an ankle bracelet on her left leg. I cannot tell if this is truly the case or if her ankle was broken and glued back into place. The wings are white and heavy. I didn’t like the bright white wings, so I painted them in a darker bronze color. I believe the heavy weight of her wings may be the reason she keeps falling backwards. She looks beautiful in my garden sitting against a planter that supports her sitting position.

   The paint job has a lot left to desire. And the wings are extremely thick. I guess so they don’t break easily. But a little bit of paint and touch up, it should look very good.
