I bought this as a gift for my sister, it arrived on time and was well packed. I wanted it to be assembled when I gave it to her and so, went about putting the legs and wings on. I quickly realized, it wasn’t going to be easy. The legs went on fine, but the metal tab on the wings, that is meant to slide snuggly into the holder on the side of the bird’s body would not go in without a fight! The bird is made of sharp-edged, painted metal (representing the feathers) and I had to file and sandpaper off the paint on the tabs, use a lot of muscle and then use WD-40 as a lubricant to help them slide into the slots. Even then, one side was only half way in. By the end of it all, I discovered, my hands were bleeding from several small cuts caused by the wing edges when I was trying to get them fitted properly.
I did think about returning the bird, several times, however, as I won the assembly battle to my satisfaction, and I like the look of it, I’m now going to keep it. (I’m going to give my sister a better quality bird statue). As it’s a pretty cheap metal, didn’t cost too much and it’s going outside, I’ll give it a protective spray and hope for the best.

100% satisfied. Stunningly beautiful and colour is eye catching. I kept it inside as I find it too beautiful to put it outside and risk having it damaged. The whole bird is approximately 2 feet high. It fits very well on my fireplace mantel.

This crane will look great in my front yard. I always try to protect items like this with a quick spray of clear Rust-Olam. Adds years to enjoyment.

It’s very easy to assemble. A little smaller than I had hoped. But looks good in my dry creek bed. I plan to spray it with clear rustoleum.

It is a lot smaller then expected for its price. Doesn’t fit together well. Wings don’t fit in the slots properly will have to figure out how to stabilize as they just fall off.
