Easy to install and is pretty. But deter birds it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Otherwise it’s attractive and inexpensive. I don’t get a good spin but it’s still pretty.

This is a pretty addition to my porch and throws lots of little rainbows in the sunshine. The spinning action doesn’t work very well – it’s kind of heavy for the small-ish size for wind resistance. I still like it though.

It’s attractive, not too big, and relatively easy to “install”, and I always wanted one, but most are too big or complex. Since my hands are messed up, it was a little harder to fully “deploy” it by rotating the sections around the middle. I chinched the hook opening that attaches to my porch hook with a pair of pliers to reduce its opening so it won’t slide off easily for better wind security. I have had several positive comments from neighbors and even from a canvasser. It’s in the view of my front door camera so I can tell when the camera “freezes”.

We have extreme weather and lots of hot sun, wind. I attached an accessory anchor to the bottom, blocked the top hook for greater spin and after months, it still looks and works great and helps to keep the birds away from my pups. It’s hypnotizing. I thought I would want metal but no way. I tried high quality metal kinetics and when they rust, no spin. Very easy to assemble and very classy.

Our silver heart-shaped windspinner is beautiful as well as practical. It helps keep some of the birds and squirrels off of our outside deck, formerly dubbed by me as the “poop deck.” It isn’t 100% effective but definitely has alleviated the problem. The spinner itself is somewhat mesmerizing when the wind is moving it, creating different heart-shaped patterns of light. I plan to buy another soon. Also, I think I will buy them as gifts as they are reasonable as well as gorgeous.
