My wife wanted a new fixture in our redone dinette. She liked this one, so I went for it.
It comes nicely packed, with the spokes all rotated sideways so they stack up and lie flat. You need to rotate them back into place. But they’re not locked in, it’s just a standard fixture screw pipe and a hex nut holding it in place. So some wobble and need to be tightened from inside. Also, as much as we played with it, it still feels like the spokes are truly perfectly aligned at 60° to each other – makes my OCD twitch…
It comes with several rods of different sizes so you can adjust the height of the fixture – nice touch.
Installation, like with most fixtures, requires a helper, as most of us are not Zaphod Beeblebrox, and don’t have a third hand. someone needs to hold it up while someone else connects the wires. But that’s SOP for a fixture, so that’s OK.
Once up, it has a kind of hinge at the top, which lets the fixture swing a bit. I’m guessing that’s to give it some flexibility in case you bump into it. It does feel a bit off, but once you install the bulbs it balances itself out.
I put frosted LED bulbs with a flame tip on it and it looks very nice.
My wife likes it, so I guess that’s what’s important…

I took my working light fixture down to set this up yes it was smaller than I was thinking but I put it up anyways because I still likes it but I could not get it to work I’m thinking it’s the wiring in the fixture it’s self not mine because putting the other back up it still works
