   I’ve purchased multiple led strip lights so far this seems to be the best for what we need. Did not expect the usb powered light to be brighter than some more expensive direct power led lights we had purchased earlier. We got this for our kitchen counter under lights. It’s bright warm just the way we wanted it. The light is extremely low profile so far it has stuck well onto the cabinets and is thin enough so it was easy to hide. We had it for a few days so far it’s been good but mostly these lights in general don’t last too long. Time will tell if this can stand that test of time.

   I tried these after another set I had used for three years stopped working. These are not warm. They are bright white, fluorescent looking. The sticky backing also peeled completely off of the lights while installing and you’ll need your own charging block. They also were flickering. Pick something else.

   I picked up this small LED strip for a very specific purpose – to brighten up the gauge cluster in an older car where the original gauges were ridiculously dim. The strip is extremely slim, which was perfect for what I needed. The light output is fantastic; it looks like one continuous, beautiful strip of light with barely any spacing between the LEDs, creating a gorgeously diffused look.

   Unfortunately, I missed the part on the Amazon page that mentioned needing a proper power supply. In my haste, I powered the strip using the spare USB port on a Chinese head unit in the car, thinking, “It’s just a small light strip, I’m sure it’s fine.” And it was, for about 20 minutes. The dash looked amazing, lighting up like a Christmas tree, and I was thrilled with how it looked.

   But then, things took a turn for the worse. After driving around with the newly lit-up dash, it only took about 10 minutes for the light strip to blow the fuse in the radio because it was pulling too much power. Moments later, smoke started pouring out of the radio, which was extremely hot to the touch. I panicked, ripped the radio out, and found it completely dead. It definitely could have caught fire and burned the car down with us in it.

   To be clear, this was not a fault of the product – it was entirely user error. However, I strongly urge anyone using this light strip to ensure it has the proper power supply. Thank god this was just a project car.

   For those with the right setup, this light strip is a fantastic addition and looks incredible. Just make sure you power it correctly for your safety!

   EDIT 8/16/24: Customer service reached out and sent me a new lightstrip. I will make sure I use it correctly this time. Outstanding customer service brought my review to 5 stars!

   The product image is accurate, there are a lot of mini LEDs packed very densely so it really does look like a smooth beam of light. It also gets extremely bright (and warm) at maximum setting, I think it gets brighter than the main light in my bedroom. Compared to those RGB strips, this is a little more expensive but very worth it since you get so many more individual LEDs so it’s more pleasant on the eyes (doesn’t have spaced-out LEDs so far apart), and the white is actually a natural white which is most important (I don’t care at all about color lights). Also since this is USB powered, if your USB port can automatically disable power, then you can make the light turn on-off automatically with your computer/TV.

   The customer support is also fantastic, very responsive and helpful via email. I bought a 2nd strip for my TV which also has a USB port, but I mistakenly ordered the 4000K version instead of 3000K (difference shown in the photo attached), and the company quickly fixed that for me, very nice!

   I will install one of this strip for every monitor and TV I buy in the future, it makes the usage experience a lot better in my opinion.

   Just bought a travel trailer, at the head of the bed there’s a cabinet up above your head with no lighting. I was able to attach the string light to the bottom of the cabinet quite easily. The lights are plenty bright enough, and they even have a dimmer switch, and on an off switch. Plus they are powered by a USB socket.

   First, you need a transformer. I used these to replace LEDs that were the wrong color in an older outside wall entry light – it’s covered from
   weather, and well protected, and it had an adequate transformer already.
   Easy install, they work well and light up the entryway perfectly (I doubled over the string for more lighting). So far they seem durable, and the color was perfect for me to perfectly match my walkway and landscape lighting.

    I wish I knew that I needed corner pieces before I ordered the light strip, but after figuring it out it made a very clean install for the back of my monitor. Dimmer/remote works great, adhesive seems okay; time will tell. Light color is exactly what I wanted.

    This LED strip is amazing.
    Firstly, the COB LEDs make a much nicer quality of light than traditional/cheaper LED strips, because the diffuser coating them makes smooth, uniform light with no bright spots. The look is so much more refined and attractive.
    Secondly, this strip has AMAZING presets (over 140 of them) which showcase all sorts of interesting chases, fades and patterns. The lights are able to intelligently sense where the strip has been cut and designate end points for these patterns which create symmetrical motion, etc. Very gorgeous and complex patterns of color chases and fades which dazzle and are way beyond an ordinary LED strip.
    Next there’s the physical switch attached to the cable, which also has buttons to change mode & brightness…
    Next there’s the remote control which is much bigger and more detailed than other LED remotes, with many more buttons and choices.
    However the BEST part by far is the phone app. This app let’s you navigate every single preset, see it’s title, change the brightness OR saturation of the colors, save 9 favorites presets, rename things, even an RGB color wheel with corresponding Hex codes to select a color which *perfectly matches* a color of your choice. If you know the Hex code of your color, you can enter it and have it match your corporate logo / desktop theme / stage light show / you name it.
    The sticky tape backing on the strip is nice & thick, not a cheap paper tape (like I’ve seen on other LED strips) but more like a rubber foam material; it sticks very well and stays put.
    Overall this is by FAR the BEST LED strip I have ever used or seen! I cannot possibly reccomend it highly enough. My name is Daniel, this is a review by a real person. I used this strip to decorate a shelf in my bedroom, the shelf has this dazzling rainbow uplifting now, it looks incredible. I love the presets and favorites function. Seriously cannot reccomend enough. Buy this instead of any other strip.
