Thought I would have trouble finding this obscure part and that it would be of knock-off quality. Wrong on both counts! Quality product, delivered earlier than expected, even included instructions.

I don’t like some of the reviews. I bought this despite the reviews. I looked around on other sites and I really liked how Amazon had the exact dimensions. Although, there were positive reviews, I wish people would just tell the whole story. I bought this for a Linden Mantel clock 1051-020. I had the old broken suspension spring to measure from. Amazon’s product was exactly the same in size. I bought my clock from a Union Gospel store for 50 bucks. It took about 6 hours to get the crutch and mechanism to work right. But, the suspension spring was removed and replaced several times. It never broke. When you must use a small needle nose to bend or straighten the crutch, the spring has to come in and out. It will break if you don’t. After all my time and effort, the clock works. It was well worth my time . Also, I liked how the replacement part, had metal ends unlike the original. They were plastic or nylon. As for my knowledge of wind up clocks , nilch. But, watching youtube did help.

I bought an antique 612-462 HOWARD MILLER WESTMINSTER CHIME wall clock at a great price. While trying to set the time, I broke the small pendulum spring. I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement part but was told the clock was discontinued years ago and that they only keep parts for 10 years afterwards. My son actually found this item listed on Amazon and I thought it was too good to be true but ordered 2 just in case! Arrived faster than promised and to my surprise fit perfectly! Awesome! Would recommend highly!

Quality product. Unfortunately, clock still not running… need to have it looked at by a clock expert. But product excellent.

Clock had not run in 14 years. My Fathers 25th Anniversary work clock. From 1984. The year I got out of the Army! I bought myself a Seiko watch the day after I was released from active duty. It still runs also!! A little beat up, but so is the owner after working 42 years.
Took apart clock, found movement had a bad “suspension spring.” Ordered on Tuesday evening, and received on Saturday morning.
Spent 3 days cleaning by hand, gears & cogs. Without taking it apart. Used a synthetic oil (from Glock) because that’s what I had. Just touch it with oil using a toothpick. Only lubricate pivot points and escape gear. Not gears. Hardest part of job was getting movement lined back up in the clock shell so the face would line up correctly with the winding mechanisms.
Nothing bad to say. Company was good on shipping. Felt price was right, especially since I didn’t pay shipping. Thank you.
    Peace to all.
