I was hoping for a much better sound for the chime. Sounds rather tinny. It’s pretty but the round piece of wood around the bezel has 4 cuts, not one total round piece. For $100 I expected more. I am waiting to see if it chimes 9 times at 9pm. NOPE! NO MUSIC, NO CHIMES FOR THE HOUR! And a booklet explaining everything would have been REALLY appropriate! I did put in new batteries. It chimes and played the tune then. Even on the video at 10:15 it chimed 8 times. What a total disappointment! Go to a real clock store if you want a bang for your buck. It’s pretty and that’s it. Save your money!
