I started at the control end and ran along a trim molding behind the tv, into the cabinet lining the bottom of each shelf. Sticks well. The lights didn’t work initially so I unplugged the connector and flipped it over. Lights came right on. I need to play with the colors and app later.

So I took these out of the box placed them where I wanted them plug them in they would not come on tried multiple ways. Nothing worked downloaded the app and it would not allow me to register constantly said network error. This is a piece of garbage don’t waste your money. I would give this zero stars if it was an option

I love these lights, they work wonderful the app is easy to use and the app works better than the remote. You can set a timer for when u want them to turn on and they can dance to your music. They also give u many different light options from rainbow to any color. You can even pic the color of your choosing that matches the color u chose on the color wheel.
