There were many sellers of this distressed white frame out there. And the photos of each of them were a little different. I wasn’t sure, so I bought the 8×10″ frames from the seller that looked a little distressed in the photo but not too much like some looked. Well, these are VERY distressed like some of the other sellers photos showed. Still nice frames and well made but a little more distressed looking than I really like. I will keep them anyway because they are for a stained glass panel class I’m teaching and the design is of an antique panel so these could work out fine. Students can just paint the frames when they get them home if they want them less distressed or a different color.

I use frames for my sea glass art. I have gone through so many frames. These ones are perfect. They are sturdy, I haven’t had any issues with the glass being scratched, they are lightweight – which helps shipping costs (when I ship finished pieces to my customers) and they are packed up good, I haven’t had any issues with receiving broken frames. I have bought these many times and will continue to do so – as long as they are in stock.

There are a hundred different options for pictures frames on Amazon but these are an excellent value. The frames are sturdy and well finished with no sharp or uneven edges. The finish is satin and evenly applied. The glass is decent and probably the best feature is the back, which is firm but not too thick and locks in place with spring clips that move by simple finger pressure. After the first 4-pack I bought a second just to have a couple extra frames around. I highly recommend these.
