First off, let me say that this duvet cover is soft. The quality is really nice for the price. It’s lightweight and cozy. It feels good against your skin. The zipper is nice and sturdy. With the duvet insert we have, this cover kept us both warm and cool. I’m a hot sleeper and my spouse freezes at night. We were both comfortable. I washed in cool water before use and dried on air dry and the colors stayed the same. No noticeable shrinkage or fading. The top side of the duvet cover is more prone to snagging, so just be mindful of that. It tried to snag on a gold bracelet as we were putting it on the insert. Cat claws or sharp dog nails could be potential issues. Even children’s toys. With all of that available information, it’s still a beautiful cover and I’m glad I decided to buy it. It’s one of the prettiest textured covers that I own and I’m definitely buy it again in the other colors.
