They light up great, but I’m only giving 4 stars because they don’t come with batteries and you have to use 3 AA batteries for just ONE. It’s annoying buying tons of batteries for these types of lights. Good thing I have an electrical engineer for a husband who can convert these into USB rechargeable lights. I don’t know why they make all these battery operated still, they should convert them to chargeable instead.

I’m amazed at what you can get by the way of LED lights these days, and these lights are certainly amazing! I’m using them on a bike for Halloween and I’ve gotten quite a few compliments so far! You’ll need batteries for the light boxes but the remotes come with them and work right after removing the plastic battery barrier! I labeled my remote and battery boxes so I know which one goes with each. I’m having a lot of fun with these and would certainly buy the same brand again!

These strands are perfect for use during Halloween 🎃 You have several settings to use. The wire is delicate as is all fairy lights. The batteries last a long time. There is a timer too so no worries turning on and off. I think the price was reasonable for 2 colors. They look great twinkling!

I am using these as Halloween decorations on my stair railing. They look really good. There are a bunch of different settings but I just use the steady on. I have not tried them outside or used the timer so can’t comment on that. But the remote works fine – just need to be pretty close and have a clear line of site. Hopefully they last through to next year!

Bought this for my mini Halloween tree I decorated for Christmas (because we’re gothy like that) to replace the lights bought on Halloween (they worked, I just didn’t have enough) and I absolutely love them!!! The bulbs are perfectly sized for mini trees. You can’t see the wiring at all once they’re lit and it’s got some really fun cycles/patterns. Settings Five and Seven will definitely give someone a seizure though as it made my mom and I rather ill and we’re not epileptic. Avoid Setting One as well for it cycles through all the options randomly.
The remotes are easy enough to figure out and each set came with one, but if you put the battery cases in the same place, you can control both with one. Kind of wish those weren’t so huge and easier to hide but given all that they do, it’s an equal trade off. Sometimes there’s de-syncing issues (one will go faster/slower than the other,) but flipping through the cycles fixes that.
Not sure how long they last because I only ever have it on for less than an hour a couple times since the 28th, but the batteries have been in there since the holiday and it’s still going strong so no complaints there. Highly recommend buying at least two sets, if not three; two weren’t quite enough to cover the entirety of my 2ft tree. If you don’t care about intertwining it and just wrap it around, two should work just fine.

Fantastic lights! They are very orange but not too bright on the highest setting. I think the coating on the lights is a genius feature. It makes them enjoyable without being blinding. I got these to spruce up a couple of Halloween decorations. Both sets work fine. I later purchased a purple set, which also work fine. I like that I can cycle through presets with the power button on the battery case because the remote interferes with my LED candles.
2 week update: No issues so far, but I wanted to say that the battery life for this item is about 3 days when I leave them on for the majority of the day. So, roughly 36 hours. I decided to get rechargeable batteries so that this decoration won’t be a detriment to the environment and I won’t waste a ton of money on batteries since I plan to use this for the long term. So, stock up on rechargeables and keep extra fully charged batteries on hand so you can swap ’em out quick without having to wait for them to charge.

One of the packs came defective, after putting in the batteries, the lights drained right away. The remote doesn’t work well after a few uses. The pack that I have that works is decent quality. The light is bright, but batteries will need to be changed often. Maybe every 3 days if you leave it on.
