   This clock does not come close to keeping the right time. It’s been hanging on my office wall for five days and has never displayed the correct time. No instruction booklet came with it and there are no instructions printed on the box it came in. I can only guess as to how to get it to work properly. It has a new battery in it and it is running, but the time is currently one hour and thirty-four minutes off. At other times, it has been as much as four or five hours off the correct time. The DST button is in the “on” position and it is set for Eastern time (I live in Virginia, USA). It is an “Atomic” clock, which means it should receive a correct time signal from somewhere in Colorado every two hours. It has had plenty of time to get right. One would expect much more from a clock that has the name “Bulova” on it, but it’s a huge disappointment. It’s a beautiful clock, but I need accuracy more than beauty. I’m sending it back to Amazon!

   After installing the single AA battery, I let the clock sit upright facing Colorado overnight. By morning, the time was exactly the same as my cell phone, right down to the second. The clock is beautiful, and the hands are very close to accurate. Totally accurate at 12:00. It remains to be seen how long the single AA battery will last. Also, the instructions are a little fuzzy regarding Daylight Savings. It is now standard time where I am. After studying the instructions, I have set the clock to DST, and I am hoping this will cause the clock to automatically move ahead one hour when our switchover occurs. But time will tell! I will post an update.

   Update: After 3 months and an automatic change to DST, the clock is still on the original battery and is keeping perfect time. Very pleased.

   Good clock, very accurate. We in Australia unable to set according to Colorado timing, as clock unable to read. Used manual setting instead. Otherwise all good.

   I put a battery in and hung it on the wall. In about an hour and a half I looked up and it had set itself to the same exact time that’s on my phone, down to the second. I’m very pleased with the function, but wish it was a couple of inches bigger. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

   Very pleased with the Bulova Atomic Clock for looks, accuracy, and ease of use. I followed the included setup directions (selected EST time zone and Daylight savings set to off) and inserted a AA battery. The hands began to sweep around and I watched it as it went through a 12 hour sweep and then began to synchronize with the 60Hz time standard it was receiving. After a couple of minutes, the hands swept around and locked in to the current time. I noted with the first synchronization that the minute hand was off by one minute but it re-synchronized 2 hours later and this was corrected. It has been running with perfect time right down to the second hand when compared to my phone’s time display. Note that the frame of the clock is nicely finished wood and quite sturdy compared to a lot of the plastic clocks that are out there. As others have noted the glass is reflective but in our kitchen it is not a problem and the clock is very easy to read from anywhere in our kitchen or dining room. I suspect that reflection problems are dependent on the angle of light from any overhead lighting in the room where you install the clock. Highly recommended for accuracy, ease of use and good looks!

   It is an atomic clock, so no problem with accuracy, so far. Easy to tell time in well lit room, not so much in dim lighting. Clock is not silent. A small ticking is detectable when noise level in the room is low.

   Great clock! I purchased this clock for the atomic and the ticking, which is a fun couple of words to say paired together. The ticking is there and therefore no star gigs, but a little too quiet for my taste (so be aware if you’re in the market for a loud ticking wall clock, this may not be the right one). The atomic feature had the clock synced within 30 minutes of inserting the battery and then resetting once to no avail. The things I really love about this clock are its eloquent simplicity, and understated yet effective design. I’m happy to see it all of the time.

   The clock looks very nice on our wall. Although it does tick, it is not loud or annoying. It keeps very good time.
