   The lights are good, nice and bright, but the glue on the back is just horrible. Cleaned my wall, let it dry out for 2 days and stuck the strip to the ceiling. Come in the next day only to find the 90% of the lights on the floor. Tried to stick it again only to have the same thing repeat itself 24 hrs later. When I tried to remove the remaining 10% to replace it with another product, it ripped off the paint in those parts, so the glue isn’t consistent. I have no complains about the LED itself, It’s nice and bright, with dimming functions. Probably best to install with additional brackets holding it in place and not to rely on the glue on the back.

   I purchased these lights for my RV in early 2022. I received them quickly and found installation easy and fun. I really enjoyed the versatility of the lighting, the brightness and the way they illuminated the inside of my traveling home. Two years later I moved out of the RV for a short time and when I returned, I couldn’t find my remote, making the lights useless. Knowing it was a long shot, I reached out to Daybetter to see if I could purchase a new remote. Within a few days, we had communicated a few times so I could outline my issue, and within a week or so I had a new remote in hand! No charge! Now that’s what I call customer service. They care more about my ability to enjoy the product than making an extra few dollars. I am really grateful and highly recommend this company for their product and for the service and attention that follow you after the sale…. even after two years!

   Setting up the light strips was easy because of the adhesive backing
   After setting up the lights, it’s been 3 months since setting them up and they are still showing no signs falling loose.
   Unfortunately these light strips are not the best, I chose them because of the low price for the amount of feet. They still do very well, but there are some issues.
   The biggest problems is there are two sections that are not responding correctly to the rest of the lights.
   When the lights are turned to red, the rest are red, but when turned to blue two sections turn off, unless a lower shade of blue is on, then the sections turn red. When white, the sections turn green. Etc
   When I first got the lights, it worked completely fine, about 2 months in and one small section started going bad, now it’s another section. These two sections are on the same strip, the other strip that came with the box works just fine, so far.

   Update: Customer support handled my issue with no trouble on my side and can safely say they only problem I had had been fixed.

   [UPDATE Feb 9 2021] Bumping from 3 to 5 stars. We contacted Daybetter support via email, and they were fast and helpful. We had a faulty controller box. We got a refund to use toward a new controller box/remote (because they didn’t have one in stock they could immediately send us; this one: https://www.amazon.com/Arrozon-LED-Lights-Remote-Control/dp/B08L7M2GPK/ref) and the lights work great now: Kids are able to program DIY colors, brightness controls work, and we can turn them on/off as expected.

   We tested the lights quickly when taking them out of the box, then hung them up around the room. They hung fine, but then we realized that the remote seemed out of sync with the colors we were selecting, and reds weren’t seeming to work at all. Then we realized the power button would not turn the lights off – it only changed their colors. We have to unplug the strip from the wall to get them to turn off.

   We searched around for LED remote control issues and found ways to reset a remote by turning the lights off and holding FADE7 until the lights flash, but you can only do that if you can turn the lights off first. Not sure if there is a fix for this we haven’t found yet, or if these are just faulty.

   EDIT: Changing my review on 9.6.24 from one star to four because of amazing customer service. Shortly after posting my original review (below), the company provided me with a full refund for my defunct lights. Definitely will consider this brand in the future since they clearly stand behind their product. Thank you! 🙂

   Ugh. It honestly pains me to write this review. To preface, I’m a repeat customer (I’ve purchased these lights on four separate occasions). My last two orders arrived this past Sunday and today (respectively). Today’s lights won’t even turn on (we always test them before we put them up) and we tried several different outlets with no success. Returning those tonight. The ones we put up on Sunday were okay—not as good as the prior orders (less actual lights so less vibrance in color) but we realized tonight that the red lights only work partially. The other colors are fine, but no luck with red. I’m so disappointed that these lights changed so dramatically, especially after how much I really loved them. My initial set purchased years ago is still up and running perfectly. My suggestion? Look elsewhere. I’m out $16 for absolutely nothing (I can’t return the ones I already put up).

   ***Check out the difference in my photos. The lights I ordered last year are more vibrant on the right. The new ones, which I put up on Sunday, are on the left. Far less lights and the red doesn’t even work (only partially).***

   The controller stopped working. The lights now blink on and off, you can change the colour with the remote control, but the LED strips won’t stay on.

   Like some other reviewers, I wasn’t impressed by the sticky tape. No problem though, I used other hooks to keep it in place but not the reason for my 1 star review.

   The entire adhesive strip has stuck on the lighting components making it impossible to stick on the wall. What worked for me is that tapped the lighting with the faulty strips. It looks good though but was expecting more on the quality of the adhesive.
