    These were easy to put up, and work exactly as described. I love that they’re not overwhelmingly bright, but bright enough. The warm light was a good choice. It’s plugged into one of those annoying wall switches that controls half the outlets in my room. The LEDs come on immediately when the switch is thrown; no warm-up time needed.

    My one wish would be that it came with some extra cable for the dimmer, along with way to mount the dimmer switch more fashionably, rather than just having it dangle there in line with the power cord. Maybe you could include a little mounting box with some 3M wall tape, or something, so I could thread it under my desk and mount it to the underside of the desk.

    But that’s more of a wish list item, than a real gripe. I could have bought a model that had a remote control, if I really wanted to dim it that frequently- which I don’t. The light is great as-is; I’m giving it the Ron Popeil treatment – set it and forget it.

    I would absolutely buy this again for another indirect room-lighting project.

    I love the 2 separate strips which makes it easier to place the strips exactly where you want them. Dimmable knob makes it easy to get the perfect brightness. Great hold on the strips.

    I need lights for a shelf where I display crystals and was very surprised that the lights were so bright. The dimmer works excellent and much needed because being on full bright is like staring at the sun. It really doesn’t take much to light up a display shelf! The cons though is that the switches you get don’t make much sense, when I was trying to run a strip and connect the next roll to my existing roll, there were too many innies and not enough outties. It would make more sense if the switches literally were like back to back innie and outtie..but no it was way more complicated to go shelf by shelf than I thought it should be. Also, if the strip got stuck to itself, it tore. I had to throw away 2 strips out of the 4 I tore it because it was like wet paper tearing in two. Now my shelf is only half done with light because half of the strip rolls are useless. 😭😭

    Came with dead pixels. First strip is the one with no damage yet half the strip doesn’t work after the copper joint. Second strip has 3 dead pixels in the middle with a bad solder point.

    -edit (12/2022) Reached out to support and they offered me a replacement. Since they were out of stock at the time they gave me a refund instead. Unfortunate but good customer experience overall.

    -edit #2 (02/2023) After 3 months of use, the power adapter stopped working properly. The lights won’t turn off, it is stuck on the lowest brightness even though the adjuster knob is clicked in the off position. Since I got a refund for the product already I don’t really care, but it is pretty much unusable now without buying another adapter.

    Well, they started off decent I suppose. Seemed durable and good 3m tape. Cut one end and attached with an adapter for a whole string. Starting from the power cord side its nice and bright, but as it continues it dims considerably. Tried a higher watt plug and it didn’t help. Now, a little over a month of use, the leds are burning out and a few flicker. Too late to replace and no sense In asking for support. I will just end up replacing these with a different brand. UPDATE: after posting this honest experience/review w/out any thought of contacting customer service, they reached out to me and apologized for the defective product. offered to replace or refund the lights. Good job and 5 stars for the customer service
