I love this guy. He’s pretty basic when you put him together..a battery pack with two arms and a head on a metal pole but that just means he’ll be easy to store away..which I need. So far, this season, he works great and has managed to spook a few people. He’s pretty loud and there is no volume control, so I worry how annoying he is to my close neighbors. I have had no issues with him falling over..he’s pretty sturdy as long as you hammer in a bunch of long, U shaped ground stakes all along his stand. I have him standing in some rocks and even on windy days he hasn’t fallen over. Since the main part of his body is just sitting on a metal pole, that makes it easy to run outside and remove just that part if it happens to rain. I was a little disappointed there was no try me button port so I could plug in an old fashioned try me pad but after hearing how loud he is, I’ve gotten over it.

Didnt show up broken, was nice and loud, moved how it was supposed to. It is battery operated (which is very convenient) and is set off by sound detection. Sound detection worked fairly well, but later into the night became less sensitive. Product info says the height is 170cm but I am 171cm and it was taller than me. I would recommend it still!

I just love this guy! His moaning is great and the motion sensor worked really well in my front yard. He is just very cheaply made. When received, one of the red eye lights was in the skull, I had to make the hole bigger so I could pull it out. I hot glued it in place. Then the head fell off. It is attached to the neck/body…by hot glue only. This was expensive – I would have expected better quality.

Initial impressions were that the prop is pretty cool. Movement is minimal but I really like the light up eyes, chest, and the sounds are pretty loud. On to the negatives. The build quality is poor, the hot glue was already peeling away so some of the fabric details were coming undone out of the box and after setting it up for a few days it got worse. The skull and hands are also super thin plastic and feel like they might break just holding it. The plastic connection pieces for the metal stand are pretty cheap as well. If I want to use this for more than one Halloween I would need to find more durable connectors or just a better stand altogether.

Really easy to put together but that being said he’s not very sturdy. Definitely needs to be tied down if displayed outside. They way he moves is cool and his “voice” is loud and pretty clear. I feel I paid a bit much for him $78. He’s a keeper though!

I bought this ghost to work in a covered halloween display on my porch. I was setting it up but it is very unstable and if not weighted properly falls over. It only works on batteries which is inconvenient for running things on an electric timer, I’ll have to run in and out to turn it on/off. The other drawback is it has no volume control and its very loud. If you forget to turn it off it could annoy the neighbors and 3 in the morning! Will be returning this.

I have purchased two items from this listing: the Grim Reaper and the Standing Clown Animated. The Standing Clown Animated was somewhat acceptable in terms of quality, although the red puff on the shoe came off right away (an easy fix with a bit of glue).
As for the Grim Reaper with the wings, I strongly advise against purchasing it. The quality is extremely poor. The head is made of very thin plastic and is attached to the body with a single tiny screw. The plastic on the head clearly lacks sufficient material to provide a secure grip for that screw, and the glue they used was inadequate to hold it in place. The head fell off on the second day of display. It’s a shame because we really liked the light-up ribcage. Regarding the wings, their backbone is a thin gauge steel wire that is not strong enough to support the weight of the rags, so they don’t stay upright. The moment you try to position the wings upright and let go, they fall back to a lower position, rendering them non-functional.
Another downside is that they don’t come with anchors, and they are not well balanced. I had a bunch of anchors available already and stabilized them, but unfortunately, it was a waste of time since the dummy failed so quickly.
Overall, I strongly recommend avoiding these products due to their extremely poor quality. The Grim Reaper was priced at about $65, which is close to the price of similar items at big-box stores. However, those items are of much better build quality.
