Very nice clock for the price. Wood finish is attractive. Easy to assemble. Setting the number of coo-coos to the hour was quite easy – simply count and push the button the correct number of counts to match the hour. Running for a couple of days now and the clock keeps accurate time. The night time sensor silences the coo-coo as stated. All and all a good buy

I chose this clock from among other cuckoo clocks at Amazon because I liked the echo feature. It is attractive and well made. Looks good on the wall of our small living room, and so is an ideal size. Some time ago we had a cuckoo clock that sounded every quarter hour, and it was almost too much “noise”. This one just sounds on the hour, can be adjusted to high or low sound, and does not chime in the dark, so you are not bothered at night (and don’t have to remember to turn it off). There were a few things to be done to set up the clock, and they should be fairly simple. However, when we got stuck on one part of the instructions and let the company know our problem, they replied quickly and gave us excellent solutions. I recommend both the company and the product.

I purchased this clock for my young grandson who is fascinated with cuckoo clocks, and felt this was the one as it did not have to be wound.
I was afraid he would pull a mechanical clock off the was by winding it with pull up chains.
So, this is perfected and he is delighted with it!

Worked for about one hour.
It looks nice, but the quality is not there. I didn’t expect top of the line for the price…but for the price, I did expect it to work for at least a little bit longer
Can’t return as I had to destroy the box to get it open and they want it in the original packaging

The clock looks very nice, however the weights and pendulum DO NOT move – for those who enjoy watching the pendulum swing back and forth. I likely would have purchased a different clock bag
had I known this classic feature was absent.

Clock is beautiful and looks like the “real thing” from Germany. I would give it 5 stars especially for the price.. but only two little items why I didn’t.
1. The sound of the cuckoo is kind of weird, it doesn’t really cuckoo and the sound of an electronic stream doesn’t help.
2. The lower volume switch almost makes no discernible difference in volume. This still terrifies my cat haha.
But still a nice looking clock that keeps accurate time and good price

We had a cuckoo clock when I was growing up so when I saw this I had to get it for nostalgic reasons. Brings me back to my childhood. Keeps accurate time. Doesn’t cuckoo until about 7am so it is not disturbing during the night. It took a little bit to get the time set initially because we were not accounting for the “echo” chimes. Couldn’t understand how it could be 20 o’clock. lol Once we figured it out, it is simple to set. Everyone that comes over to the house loves it.

Nice looking clock, but the plastic hands are kind of disappointing. Pendulum isn’t swinging, need to look into this.
