I bought this clock to replace a similar one purchased on Amazon a few months earlier. Setting the time on the first one was just too difficult. It had too many bells and whistles. This clock is better because it’s much simpler. The numbers are similar in size and color but it’s a lot easier to set the time. The auto dimming feature is good but it dims down a little more than I like. It’s still okay though. I would buy this clock again.

After cutting my cable provider, I missed seeing the time that used to be displayed on the DVR. This filled the void nicely and is a nice, large, easy to read size. I wish it would dim just a bit more but the brightness is not distracting. The settings are simple. If you want just a basic clock, get this one.

I wanted a clock that I could hang on the wall a few feet from the bed, and be able to read the time at night without my glasses. This clock is perfect for that.
The display is bright enough to read easily, but not so bright that it’s too bright at night.
A few things worth noting:
– This clock does not do anything except tell you the time (in either 12-hour or 24-hour format). It doesn’t have a date or any other information — just the time.
– This clock doesn’t have an alarm.
– Because this clock doesn’t know the date, it can’t switch automatically to/from Daylight Saving Time. That’s fine as far as I’m concerned — I don’t mind changing the time when necessary.
– The auto-dimming seems to work well.
– The only minor negative is that the power adapter sticks out a couple of inches from the wall. No big deal for me, but if you’re trying to use an outlet that is right behind a piece of furniture, you may need to use a short extension cord to if you want to push the furniture close to the wall.
– The clock comes with a lot of mounting hardware. I didn’t use any of it. I just put two small nails in the wall, and that worked perfectly. The suction cups would be nice if you were mounting the clock on a mirror or on tile.
– I’ve had the clock for about 3 weeks, and so far it’s keeping time perfectly.
I’m really happy with the clock. The clock looks nice, the display is sharp and easy to read, and it appears to keep accurate time. If I need another clock at some point, I’d buy this again without a second thought.
