If you are looking for a medium size lamp look no further. I was actually very hesitant to order this wondering if it would be one of the cheap looking and often rickety ones I have bought and returned in the past.
Not so.
This one looks classy and far more expensive than it is. The size and color were perfect for me, but obviously that will not apply to everybody. But be assured, it is a very good looking table lamp.

The lamp is quite nice, as others has reviewed. It’s stylish but understated, compact, sturdy, and clean. The cord is luxuriously long. The switch seems sturdy. Assembly was simple. The lamp gives me pleasure every time I look at it. It might be the best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon.
Be aware, though, that when you open the box, little balls of Styrofoam will fly everywhere. No matter how carefully you try to unwrap the contents, minced Styrofoam will continue to go everywhere. Days after you put the assembled lamp on its table and vacuum up the Styrofoam, you’ll magically continue to find more Styrofoam detritus in other rooms. It’s like a bedbug infestation. (UPDATE: A full month later, I’m still finding pieces of Styrofoam around.)
One big gripe: I bought mine “new,” but one I got was definitely used. The lamp itself is “like new,” but the packaging was clearly previously opened and torn on the inside and outside. I’m not returning it because the lamp is fine (and because I have no desire to invite more Styrofoam into my home), but it’s annoying to be sold something as “new” and get something “like new” that should have come with a used-item discount. As the lamp is drop-shipped directly from Ashley Furniture, it’s down to them, not down to Amazon.
