These wind chimes are more beautiful in person than they were in the picture. The size is perfect and the Music they make is very relaxing. However if you live in a very windy area, The shells do break off sometimes. It has not affecthe sound though. I had one similar two years ago and it lasted me at least eighteen months before Before I felt I needed to replace it from all the shelves being broken off. The sound is so distinctive though In comparison to your standard wind chimes. I love it.

I love these glass chimes and I realize they will break over time. But I don’t expect them to be delivered with broken glass in the packaging. I originally ordered these about 5 years ago. They were delivered in their own box and packaged for shipping. They lasted years with no breaks, but now they need to be replaced. The replacement set was delivered in a bubble envelope and many pieces were already cracked. I returned and ordered a replacement, same result.

I’ve always wanted a capiz shell windchime and I’ve owned Woodstock brand windchimes before so know they’re good quality. This is beautiful. I hung it in my bedroom. I got the purple. Well crafted. 40 inches long! Love!
